Tel Aviv and Ankara will get their ambassadors back.

Israel and Turkey have decided to restore full diplomatic ties, including returning ambassadors, after talks with the Turkish president, according to the Israeli prime minister.

This will help strengthen regional stability.

The renewal of full diplomatic relations with Turkey will encourage greater economic relations, mutual tourism, and friendship between the Israeli and Turkish peoples.

The spirit of partnership in the Middle East is important for us all. Muslims, Jews, and Christians can all live in peace.

The relationship between the two countries has been rocky over the past decade, especially since the US moved its embassy to Jerusalem. Israel and Turkey expelled their ambassadors after 60 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces on the Gaza border in protest of the relocation of the US embassy. The move of the US embassy to Jerusalem was against decades of US policy.

The Israeli government has been criticized for its treatment of Palestinians. Turkey's president decried Israel as an "apartheid state that has occupied a defenseless people's lands for 60 years in violation of UN resolutions" and Benjamin Netanyahu had "the blood of Palestinians on his hands" in the same year.

The Times of Israel reported that Turkey's Foreign Minister said that restoring full relations with Israel didn't mean Ankara was giving up on the Palestinians.

The top Turkish diplomat said that they would defend the rights of Palestinians.

It is important to improve bilateral ties if ambassadors return to each country.
