According to the company, Chorus can deliver a new level of immersive, ultra- realistic audio. Chorus has an open back form factor that allows ambient sounds to be heard. The speakers were supposed to be positioned over the user's ears before it was put on the strap. It will make the device look like the Valve index, which comes with two speakers after installation. The Chorus is compatible with both the stock and Meta's Elite straps.
Chorus' big open-back audio drivers make it possible for users to hear both the big moments and the smallest details. The add-on isn't an original part of the game, but it is meant to remain in place. Since it was designed to stay plugged in, it supportsusb-c passthrough. Users can either keep their headset charged or connect other devices to it. Chorus isn't the best choice for those who want privacy while watching movies or exploring new experiences in virtual reality because of its lack of noise isolation.
Vadim Kogan said "Chorus enhances the fit and comfort of Metaquest 2, while allowing those who love long play sessions to stay immersed in their favorite games and experiences through the audio integration in a comfortable design built for the virtual reality gaming community."
The Chorus will be available for $100 from a number of retailers.
