According to a report from The Washington Post, a good lawyer is hard to find for former President Donald Trump.
A Republican lawyer told The Post that "everyone is saying no" when it comes to Trump's cases.
Another lawyer talked about the difficulties of representing Trump. They said that during his presidency, Trump would use social media to criticize the investigation. Several other people told The Post that they were worried if they would be paid for their work because of Trump.
He used to say that firms represented him was a benefit. Michael Cohen is a former Trump lawyer who is now a fierce critic of the former president.
"He's a very difficult client in that he pushes the envelope, he rarely listens to sound legal advice, and he wants you to do things that are not appropriate, ethically or legally," Cohen said.
Jim Trusty and Evan Corcoran have decades of prosecutorial experience and have litigated some of the most complex cases in American history, according to a report.
Budowich said that President Trump is represented by some of the strongest attorneys in the country.
A New Jersey parking garage lawyer, a former One America News anchor, and a trusty and corcoran represent Trump.
There is an investigation in New York into whether the Trump Organization violated banking, insurance, and tax laws. During his deposition, Trump pleaded the fifth more than any other person.
The Department of Justice is investigating if Trump mishandled confidential documents. The FBI removed 11 sets of classified documents when they executed a search warrant on Trump's Mar-a-Lago. The Espionage Act is one of the laws the Justice Department is looking into.
