Delta is restarting Los Angeles-Tokyo Haneda flights: Travel Weekly

There will be flights between Los Angeles and Tokyo Haneda.

The route will operate three times a week for the rest of the year.

The carrier said it is going to resume the flight because of the reopening of Japan to foreigners. A package tour to the island nation is required for leisure travelers.

Delta One business class, Delta Premium Select premium economy class and a main cabin split between Comfort Plus and standard economy seats will be available on the flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo Haneda.

Delta will be competing on the route with other airlines. There are five carriers that fly between Los Angeles and Tokyo.

Delta will start daily service between Honolulu and Tokyo Haneda on December 1st, competing directly with Hawaiian, All Nippon and Japan Airlines as well as indirectly with the six carriers that fly between Tokyo Narita and Honolulu.
