There is a chance that Kenneth Walker III won't be ready for the opener.
The running back missed Tuesday's practice because of a hernia, and the hope is that he will be ready to go by the first week.
Brady Henderson @BradyHendersonCarroll on Walker continued: "We’ve just got to make sure that he’s OK by the opener is what we’re shooting for.”
He made his one year with the Spartans count after transferring to Michigan State. He ran for a lot of yards and points. He had 1, 205 yards from scrimmage in his two seasons at Wake Forest.
He was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the NBA draft.
The franchise decided to build the offense around a new vision, one that did not include Russell Wilson. They want to set the tone.
Walker is going to be a big part of the future of the team. With him out of the picture, there are still options for running backs.
Coming off his best season as a pro, running for 749 yards and six touchdown in 10 appearances, while Travis Homer provides depth, there is no shortage of talent on this team.
