A new pair of solar-powered wireless headphones by Adidas will keep you dry. The headphones can be charged with either natural or artificial light. We were pleasantly surprised by the 40 hours of wireless play. The newer line promises to double the time it takes to play back, as well as being able to charge at any time of day. It is made of recycled plastic and nylon.
The headband of the SOL is made of a flexible light-cell material. The screen-printed solar cell material can be used in a wide range of applications. Older types of solar cells that need a constant source of natural light can't charge because they don't have a strong source of light. It's not the first company to make solar-powered headphones, but they're still rare.
It is IPX4-rated so it can handle sweat and splashes from a nearby ocean or lake. There is an indicator that helps find the best light to charge the headphones. If all else fails, it also has ausb-C port. The RPT-02 SOL will be available for purchase on August 23rd.
