Windows 11 version 22H2 will be released on September 20th. According to sources, Microsoft will roll out Windows 11 22H2 through Windows Update on September 20th.

The 22H2 release date was first reported by Windows Central.

New features in Windows 11 22H2 include app folders in the Start menu, drag and drop on the taskbar, and touch gestures and animations. The new Live Captions accessibility feature with 22H2 is ideal for people who are hard of hearing or who want to caption audio automatically. The new Voice Access tool allows people to control their PCs with voice commands.

The Task Manager in Windows 11 22H2 is getting a new dark mode and a better layout with a new command bar. It will be easier to drag and app to reveal all the layout you can use in 22H2

The file explorer tabs will arrive a little later than September 20th. A new Suggested Actions feature will be included in a later update for 22H2 according to Windows Central. You can install the final update for Windows 11 22H2 if you want to.

The 10-year anniversary of Surface will be marked by new products from Microsoft, according to sources. The new version of Windows 11 will likely ship with these devices.

There has been no official announcement of a Windows 11 22H2 release date by Microsoft. Microsoft will return to in-person tech events in October with a conference in Seattle.
