When the Odyssey Ark was first announced, the focus was on its ability to be flipped to the side and used in a vertical position.

The Odyssey Ark is grandiose, but it isn't as odd as it first appeared.

The monitor was put up for pre-order for $3,499 after all of the details about the Ark were released. The mini led monitor has a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution. There is a maximum refresh rate of 165hertz and a 1ms response time.

This is a gaming monitor through and through, but what makes it different is the size, which is nerd speak for very curvy.

Some cool things were able to be done by this huge size. Cockpit Mode is where the monitor can display three virtual displays on top of each other. In horizontal mode, you get up to four virtual displays, so you can think of it as a multi-monitor setup. The Ark Dial is a special controller that sits on your table and has a solar panel to charge it. This device has been taken to a whole new level.

The monitor is massive but it could potentially save space by eliminating the need for extra speakers as it has a 60 watt output. The only thing missing is the list of ports, the Ark only has four of them.
