Apple tells employees to work at the office three times per week starting in September

Employees who work in Santa Clara County near the company's California headquarters have been called back to the office where they are expected to work three times per week.

On Tuesday and Thursday, Apple employees will be asked to come to work. Individual teams will pick another day for in-person work.

It's a sign that Apple is still committed to in person work. Apple has always emphasized in-person meetings and demos and requires employees to be present.

Apple employees work from their offices two days a week. The move to a system in which employees would work from the office three days a week was delayed because of rising Covid cases.

In an email to staff, Craig Federighi said September would be the true start of Apple's hybrid work pilot.

An Apple representative wouldn't say anything.
