Spotify is offering three months free to new Premium subscribers

New users of the service will get three months of service. There is a three-month offer for new individual and student subscribers. Those who canceled before July 15th will be able to get their first three months for a steep discount.

Users can take advantage of the new offer until September 11. After the three-month trial is over, subscribers will be charged regular price for the subscription. Interested people can sign up at the site.

As the company slows hiring due to concerns about the economy, this latest deal could help it increase its subscriber numbers. The total number of users on the platform increased to 433 million in the second quarter from 423 million in the first.

New features have been added to the service recently. A separate play and shuffle button has been given to paid subscribers. A redesign was introduced to help separate music and podcasts. There is still no sign of the internet radio service.
