The FBI searched former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida last week.
The alert was sent by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security through a joint intelligence bulletin. According to CBS News, the threats are being made mostly online and across multiple platforms, including social media sites, web forums, video sharing platforms, and image boards.
Trump and his allies have personally attacked the FBI for executing a search warrant on the former president's home. The FBI has been accused of planting evidence or working with Democrats by Trump on his social media platform.

Three days after the Mar-a-Lago search, an individual named Ricky Shiffer Jr. tried to break into the FBI field office in Cincinnati with an assault rifle and nail gun. The Truth Social platform was used by Shiffer to promote violence against law enforcement.
Shiffer said in a post that he would kill them when they came for him. Don't be a steer.
Photos and videos that were edited to look like they came from the search have gone viral. While guest-hosting Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News last week, Brian Kilmeade showed a fake image of the judge who signed off on the FBI's search warrant. The show was showing a meme, according to Kilmeade.
On Friday there was a fake video purporting to show another Fox host arguing with a governor over the definition of an FBI raid. The discussion didn't happen. The video was altered to show footage from a recent segment and footage from two years earlier. A "manipulated media" label was put on the post hours after the video gained traction.
On Monday, Trump warned Fox News Digital that people were so angry at what was happening that they were going to kill him. The temperature has to be brought down in the country in order for us to help. Terrible things are going to happen if it isn't, people are not going to stand for another scam
