The actress, who is currently appealing the Johnny Depp verdict, has hired a law firm to review the case as well as evidence. The lawyers from the firm are coming. David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown are both lawyers who specialize in First Amendment cases. She is losing a lawyer with the addition of Brown. She was lead counsel in the trial. Her departure from the team isn't explained beyond that. It's the right time to pass the baton and she's done her homework to make sure the new team is up to speed. Elaine was thrashed during her representation that seems to be the consensus anyway. The new boys, as well. It's a case with important First Amendment implications for every America and we welcome the chance to represent Ms. Heard. They are confident that the appellate court will clear the name of the man.
