Samsung Launches $3,500 'Odyssey Ark' 55-Inch Curved Gaming Display

The Odyssey Ark is the world's first 55 inch 4K curved display with a 165Hz refresh rate for improved gaming performance. The monitor is now available to purchase.

The Odyssey Ark is priced at $3,500 and features mini-LED technology with 1000R curve and is rotatable. The Ark display can be turned into a vertical orientation with the Cockpit Mode option.

A built-in processor upscales content to 4K resolution and "enhances every visual detail", as well as a 165Hz maximum refresh rate and a 1ms response time for gaming. There are features that include a Game Bar for display adjustments and a gaming hub that can be used to find new content to play. Up to four screens can be displayed at the same time.

The display is made of matt material to cut down on reflections and glare. The display's position can be adjusted with HAS, tilt, and pivot, and the monitor can be wall mounted if you want.

Pre-ordering the Odyssey Ark can be done from the website. Pre-order customers will receive up to $300 off the retail price when the display launches in September.
