The congressman re-written history to argue against prosecuting the former president for taking classified documents.
That approach was taken by the president. He said, "'You know what, we're not going to prosecute Hillary Clinton,'"
She had to decide what to present to the archives despite the destruction of thousands of documents with BleachBit. Trump said, "Let's move on." They aren't able to do it when it comes to him.

Clinton was investigated by the FBI for her use of a private email server. There were no criminal violations found by the FBI.
Trump wasn't interested in moving forward.
The chant "lock her up" is still used at Trump's rallies. In 2016 he said Clinton would be in jail. He promised to appoint a special prosecutor if he won.
Allies of Trump have argued that prosecuting him would be too divisive for the country. They have attacked the credibility of the Justice Department and spread false and self-serving conspiracy theories about the FBI searching his home.
According to the FBI's search warrant, Trump is being investigated for possibly violating the Espionage Act, obstruction of justice, and removing and destroying official documents.
