According to a post from the account "yeux1122" on the Korean website Naver, Apple is planning to announce a new low-cost iPad and an updated iPad Pro with MagSafe charging capabilities during an event in October.

The account has been the source of accurate information in the past, including accurately revealing details about the fifth-generation iPad Air. There is a rumor about an "iPad mini Pro" that has not turned out to be true.

The low-cost iPad, which is expected to get a significant redesign with flat edges and a larger display, will launch alongside a new iPad Pro in October, according to the account.

The upcoming low-cost iPad is expected to include the A14 Bionic chip, 5G, a larger display, and ausb-c port.

Mark Gurman reported last week that Apple will hold two events this fall, one focusing on the iPad and the other on the Mac.

An updated iPad Pro with a mini-LED display will be released in April 2021. The launch of the newer and more powerful iPad Pro with M2 will likely coincide with the launch of iPadOS 16 which is expected to launch in October.

Stage Manager on iPadOS 16 allows users to run multiple apps in windows at the same time with external display support. The performance of the M2 chip and Stage Manager in iPadOS 16 is not the only thing that has been speculated about.
