A Fox News host asked if former President Donald Trump tried to sell classified documents to Russia or Saudi Arabia.
During a live broadcast on Fox News on Sunday, Eric Shawn raised the possibility that Trump could have used the classified documents the FBI found during their search of his Florida residence.
There are more questions being asked this morning. Did the former President try to sell the highly classified material to the Russians or the Saudis? "Shawn, what do you think?"
He asked if the documents were mishandled because he thought he had a right to have them.
Shawn mentioned reports from Russian state media that the material might have been leaked to parties in Russia before interviewing Rebekah Koffler.

The backlash against the former president and his allies over the Mar-a-Lago raid came from some Fox News hosts.
"I'm just curious, whatever happened to the Republican Party backing the blue?" asked Steve Doocy on Thursday. What about members of law enforcement, federal law enforcement, at the FBI?
In the wake of the Mar-a-Lago raid, the FBI and law enforcement have come under fire from Republicans.
The FBI's raid was a big deal since agents were looking to retrieve classified documents related to nuclear weapons.
Baier, who in July criticized Trump over the public hearings, also denied that Obama had mishandled documents.
There is something going on. Baier said that the president followed the processes to get the documents to Chicago.
He said that the difference between Trump and Obama was that the documents were handled well.
During his presidency, Trump was known to do nearly weekly calls to "Fox & Friends." However, in July, he expressed his unhappiness with the show. He said that the talk show had gone to the dark side after one of its hosts questioned his poll numbers.
Some of Trump's supporters can be found on Fox News. Jesse Watters made a claim last week that the FBI could have planted evidence at Mar-a-Lago. The body and face of the federal judge who signed off on the Mar-a-Lago search warrant were digitally altered by Fox News.
The FBI took 11 sets of classified documents from Mar-a-Lago after executing a search warrant last week. The Espionage Act is one of the laws being investigated by the Justice Department.
