The congressman finally admitted that he wouldn't remove White House documents like the former president did.

Turner, the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, had argued earlier that Congress should determine how important the official records are, whether or not they were classified or not.

Some of the top secret material was among the 20 boxes of items collected by the FBI. The National Archives is supposed to hold all official documents.

The former president is being investigated for possible violations of the Espionage Act and obstruction of an investigation.

Keilar waited for her chance in the interview, then asked Turner if he took home documents marked "special access."

He said no.

Turner doesn't know if the documents found at Mar-a-Lago pose a national security threat.

Turner was accused of trying to dismiss Trump's actions by a former adviser.

Troye said that he was disgusted with Congressman Turner because he would show complete disregard for intelligence and national security documents.

There are a lot of foreigners going in and out of Mar-a-Lago, which puts national security information at risk.

Turner would dismiss the documents as unimportant, according to her.

She blamed Turner and other Republicans for an increase in threats and violence against the FBI.
