Atlanta Falcons first-round wideout Drake London left Friday's preseason game against the Detroit Lions with a knee injury and didn't practice Sunday, but the team doesn't appear to be overly concerned.

Arthur Smith told reporters that it's nothing that they're worried about. We're going to be smart. He had a great training camp. The goal is to get everyone back by the regular season.

It's not clear whether London will miss the rest of the preseason.

Smith said that they would assess it week to week. He had a great camp. He's getting his feet wet, and I'm happy with him.

After years of top wideout play, the Falcons found themselves at a crossroads this season with Calvin Ridley suspended for the year.

The team chose London with the 8th pick.

The 21-year-old had a fantastic junior season for USC in 2021, catching 88 passes for 1,084 yards and seven touchdown, and the Falcons made him the first wide out off the board in the draft.

London's junior season was shortened by a broken ankle, which has been a factor in his football career.

The Falcons don't have a lot of depth at wideout, with players like BryanEdwards, OlamideZcheaus and Auden Tate likely to play if London misses time. The top option in the passing game will continue to be Kyle Pitts.
