Anthony Gordon
Gordon has started both of Everton's opening Premier League fixtures this season as a main striker

England Under-21 forward Anthony Gordon was offered a huge amount of money by the Blues.

It is thought that the Blues will come back with a higher offer in order to convince the Goodison Park club to part with the young player.

There is a chance of a cash-plus-player loan for the Toffees as they have previously been linked with a couple of players.

Both played late in the game.

According to sources, a deal could be done soon as personal terms will not be an issue.

Gordon has started the first two games of the season in an unfamiliar number nine position.

He signed a five-year contract with the club in September 2020.
