How to Create a Secure Folder on Your Phone

The lock screen on your phone is an essential barrier to anyone trying to gain access to it.

A secure folder can protect your most important files, such as photos or documents, from being seen, if you use a PIN code or a recognized fingerprints before it opens.

The good news is that there is a secure folder built in if you use a premium or mid-range device. To enable it, go to settings and choose biometrics and security, and then you will be able to choose your lock method. The folder can be protected with a pattern, password, or fingerprints.

No one else will be able to get into that folder without the login method you have specified, so you can hide it through the same secure folder menu in settings. You can add files with the + (plus) button when you are in the secure folder.

It is possible to get files into your secure folder from the apps they are already in. If you tap the More button in the lower right corner, you can choose one or more images. Go back to the secure folder menu in the settings if you need to remove it.
