Telegram doubles down on emoji in a new update for Premium users

If you have a Telegram Premium subscription, you can now use the service's open emoji platform, which allows you to create custom packs with unique art styles and characters.

In chats and media caption, you can use the new animated emojis. Premium users will receive 10 initial custom packs with more than 500 Premium emojis. One of the best messaging apps will soon be home to more custom emojis.

The sticker shortcut in a chat box can now be used as an emoji shortcut. There's a new panel where you can add or view existing packs. You can see all the packs in the suggestions when you type a certain symbol.
