Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Surface Publicly, First Time Since Oscars Slap

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett put on a united front as they stepped out in public together for the first time since the Oscars slap.

A couple was seen leaving Nobu in Malibu with a handler following them. Will was ahead of Jada, who was wearing a cap and a casual outfit.

It looks like she might have grabbed his hand in some of the shots, but you can see that she has him by his clothing.

They got in their vehicle and drove away. Will flashed a peace sign to a person who called his name. He seems to be in a good mood after his recent apology video.

You will remember. Will explained his actions that night, saying Jada's eye-roll did not fire him up and spur him to storm the stage, it was just built up bad blood between the Smiths and Chris Rock that led to it.

CR hasn't taken him up on the fact that he wants to speak with Chris. Will and Jada are moving on with their lives while we wait.

In L.A., the dude is out and about in daylight, and that says a lot about where he is in his life.

He won't be seen at any awards shows in the near future.
