Jordan Poole's stock has skyrocketed and complicated his long-term future with the Golden State Warriors, coming off a season in which he averaged career highs in points, assists, and steals.

If he becomes a restricted free agent, one Eastern Conference team could emerge as a favorite to sign him.

One Eastern Conference executive told Deveney that the Magic would be prepared to make an offer if he's restricted.

There is no indication at this time that the two sides are talking about an extension.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported on June 20 that Golden State would need to make an offer in the range of $100 million over the course of four years.

The Warriors have been able to pay all of their key players, so I don't see that changing, according to the general manager.

Golden State paid the luxury tax to keep its championship core together. The team has a luxury tax bill of more than $150 million.

The team was able to cut its tax bill by over 50 million dollars by not bringing back Otto Porter Jr.

The Warriors have to keep an eye on the status of Andrew Wiggins. He can become an unrestricted free agent next summer if he doesn't sign a new deal by the end of the season.

There could be more upside in his game as he enters his prime since he is four years younger than Wiggins.

It makes sense for the Magic to be a landing spot. They are building a group of young people.

One of the best groups of young talent in the NBA could be made up of that group. He averaged 18 points per game and connected on 36.4% of his three-point attempts.

In the last six years, the team has only had one winning season and two playoffs. In 2010, the team lost in the Eastern Conference Finals.
