The Cartwheel galaxy is one of the latest distant ones to be treated by the telescope. The Webb telescope is the most powerful telescope ever built, and it still captures amazing images of the distant universe. The European Space Agency collaborated with NASA and the Canadian Space Agency on a video that shows the telescope looking through the universe to the CartwheelGalaxy 500 million light-years away.
A level of detail and clarity that would be hard to see in individual images is what the video ends with.
The Cartwheel galaxy is in a stage where it could be in the process of colliding with another galaxy. The future form of the galaxy is still a mystery but the images give a glimpse into its past and future.
