The San Siro was stunned by the first goal of the game.

Ante Rebic put the hosts ahead from 12 yards out after Milan had tied the game.

Udinese were back on level terms thanks to Adam Masina's strong headed goal.

Milan were leading again within seconds of the restart when Masina knocked the ball back into the six yard box, allowing BrahimDiaz to tap in.

Rebic scored his second goal, and Milan's fourth of the night, when he took the ball off Roberto Pereyra near the touchline.

In the closing stages of the game, Origi was brought on by Pioli to make his league debut.

Milan won the Italian title for the first time in over a decade last season, and are looking to win back-to-back titles for the first time in two decades.
