A rioter who called police officers at the scene "little fuck spineless fuck oath violating little fuck weasels" was sentenced to 8 months in federal prison on Friday.
According to the Justice Department, Glen Simon pleaded guilty to the charges in October and again in April after more evidence was discovered.
There was a new video of Simon pushing against a barricade on January 6 and he was sentenced to a class B felony.
The Chief Judge of the DC District Court questioned the prosecutors on why Simon wasn't charged with a felony.
When he was looking for Congress, why wasn't he charged with obstruction? "Howell, what's the matter?"
Simon yelled and cursed at law enforcement, according to NBC News.
Simon was susceptible to conspiracy theories because he fell into personal issues in the summer of 2020. She wanted him to be sentenced to six months of home confinement.
Simon was sentenced to eight months in prison and a year of supervision. Simon was fined and ordered to pay for damage to the Capitol.
This is not the type of person I want to be sending into the community. He's shown a lot of anger and a belief in conspiracy theories.
