In a forthcoming book, Hillary Clinton suggested to an NBC News reporter that she thinks the man is sexist.

Ali Vitali, a correspondent for NBC News, wrote a book about the comments. The excerpt was published by Politico.

Clinton talked to Vitali after the debate between Warren and Sanders.

During the debate, Warren was accused of being a liar.

"I think you referred to me as a liar on TV," Warren said.

"Alright, let's not do it right now," he said. We will have that discussion.

After attempting to re- engage in the conversation, he tried to cut it off once more. He said that he was told not to do it now.

The heated discussion began after Warren said that he had told her in a private meeting that he didn't think a woman could win against Trump.

Clinton watched the moment unfold.

She told Vitali that she believed her because she knew the kind of things that he said about women. I thought that she was telling the truth.

Clinton wanted Warren to push back in front of everyone.

She regretted that she didn't turn on him and say, "You know, it's one thing to deceive people about your healthcare plan."

It's another thing to tell someone that a conversation didn't take place. That would have been an important time for her.
