Gabriel Jesus scored his first two goals for the club as Mikel Arteta's side beatLeicester City.

The Brazilian scored twice before the break and assisted his side's other goals, but missed several chances for a hat-trick.

William Saliba's own goal early in the second half gaveLeicester hope, but Granit Xhaka restored the two-goal lead two minutes later.

James Maddison again reduced the arrears, only for Gabriel Martinelli to make it 4-2 and maintain their 100% start to the season.

The referee decided to overturn the penalty decision after consulting with the video assistant referee.

After scoring, Jesus was twice denied by Danny Ward before the break, and he also hit the side-netting with 10 minutes remaining.
