The hotel's Dollywood shuttle made it easy for me to get to and from the park in a matter of minutes.

Dollywood's Dream More Resort shuttle takes guests to and from the resort.

The shuttle dropped me off at the park entrance in the morning. The driver told us that we could get free ice water at any concession stand during the short drive.

The shuttle picked me up right after the fireworks show at Dollywood. I loved that I didn't have to go back to the parking lot because I was exhausted. I was surprised that I could get to my hotel room in a few minutes.

You can find live music all over Dollywood. Singers stand outside restaurants with guitars, bluegrass bands play under gazebos, and various theaters host concerts.

I wasn't expecting to see live music at the Dream More Resort, but I was pleasantly surprised to see beautiful renditions of Dolly Parton hits and Disney songs.

There was cinnamon bread in the Starbucks lobby.

The cinnamon loaves are soaked in butter and cinnamon- sugar before baking. They come with dipping sauces of buttercream icing and apple butter.

Dollywood gift shops sell t-shirts that say "I'm just here for the cinnamon bread"

At Dollywood, cinnamon bread can be found at The Grist Mill in the Craftman's Valley area and the Spotlight Bakery on Showstreet. I was surprised to see the same cinnamon bread at Starbucks as it was at the Dream More Resort.

Free ice water was available by the hotel pool.

Dollywood does not serve alcohol, but you can get free ice water at any vendor with a soda fountain. This perk was offered by the hotel.

The hotel has painted benches in honor of Parton.

Dolly Parton created the Imagination Library to encourage a love of reading. Millions of books have been given to young readers in the US, Canada, and the UK.

"Camp DW," a series of family-friendly activities, was not only for kids.

I still enjoyed a complimentary glass of pink lemonade, even though most of the programming was geared towards families. I sat in the rocking chair on the hotel's porch and drank pink lemonade.

In a corner of the lobby's lower level is a display of an unfinished Dolly Parton song.

A song Parton wrote to be released on her 100th birthday in 2046 is contained in a glass box.

"My Place In History" was written by Parton in the year that she opened the Dream More Resort. She used a CD player in the chestnut box to record the song.

A piece of wood from Parton's childhood home in Tennessee is featured in the glass case.
