Cloud games are easy to find on the search page. Ars Technica and The Verge have confirmed that the new Play Now ability showed up for them in separate instances. Play Now adds cloud gaming links to the landing page for the game you're looking for so that you can hop in from the search page. Clicking the Stadia option will just start the game, while links for other services will take you to their own websites. Don't fret if you don't see the feature yet, it seems it has just begun. It showed up for the deputy editor of consumer tech, but only for the second game. I apologize to my editor, who now has a Stadia account. I wanted to know if the Play Now ability is live and if I could get more information from the search engine. I will let you know when I hear back. The Play Now tab can be found on desktop browsers if you have the ability. I tried to use the ability on two different accounts, but nothing came up. When the Play Now feature is available, there are more pictures of what it will look like.
There is a game on the main page of the website. Ars was trying to type in games. The Play now column will be on the right-hand side if it is on streaming. If the game is available on one of the competing cloud platforms, you will get a Play shortcut.
If you don't have the Play Now tab in your search results, you can usually find a stream on the first page. Stadia links are usually mixed in with links of where to purchase the game.
Some users might need the new Play Now capability to know that Stadia isn't going away. I think that Stadia will end up like the other pet projects that are rolled up into something bigger. It is not hard to see how this plan to instantly launch games is related to the other instant play ventures.
This year, for AT&T customers? It is now called Control. When it is the web browser that facilitates all that, who needs the Stadia branding?
The idea of being able to quickly jump into a game hosted up in the cloud has taken off. The goal is to hone in on the technology so that it becomes a significant part of its most influential real estate on the internet: its search engine.
