Donald Trump's allies are suddenly not so eager to defend him and attack the FBI over agents' search of the former president's Mar-a-Lago home.

"As people around him have learned more about the extent of what he was keeping there, and the various efforts behind the scenes to get them, short of a search warrant, alarm has grown in recent days." They are starting to go dark and stay away from this.

Some of the people close to the former president may not know what kind of documents he kept.

According to the warrant and property receipt used by the FBI to conduct the search, 20 boxes of documents, including 11 sets of classified information, were removed from the Mar-a-Lago estate. The documents were made public at the request of the attorney general.

Some of the information was designated to remain in a secure government facility. Some of the classified documents were believed to be related to nuclear weapons, which was a key reason for the urgent search, according to sources.

According to the warrant, Trump is being investigated for possibly violating the Espionage Act, obstruction of justice, and removing and destroying official documents. The documents didn't give any details.

The Espionage Act forbids anyone from obtaining defense information with the intent of using it against the U.S.

Several right-wing extremists called for a civil war and for Americans to lock and load after Trump and a number of Republican lawmakers criticized the FBI.

The legal search has been called araid, asiege, lawless, andcorrupt by Trump.

The FBI agents executing the search warrant went "rogue" and it was time to destroy the FBI, according to Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.).

Dawsey predicted that others would speak out on the former president's behalf because of their faith in his ability to escape accountability.
