‘Alone in the Dark' reboot confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC

Rumors of a remake of Alone in the Dark have been going around for a while, and THQ Nordic confirmed that the rumors are true. It's bringing a remake of the 1992 classic to PS 5, Xbox Series X and PC, but didn't say when it would be.

Alone in the Dark was the first 3D survival horror game, but it hasn't been released since 2015. This will be THQ Nordic's first entry since buying the series from Atari.

Pieces Interactive will be releasing a single-player game that will feature an original story from the writer of Soma and the creature designs of Guy Davis. Characters, places and themes will be included in the game. The game is set in the American South in the 1920s and features Emily Hartwood and Edward Carnby as playable characters. All the enemies will be brand new according to THQ Nordic.

During the stream, there were new looks at SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake and AEW Fightforever. Space for Sale is a game in which you build homes on procedurally generated planets and sell them to alien clients.
