A search warrant for former President’s Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence unsealed by a federal judge on Aug. 12, 2022 indicates the FBI seized highly classified materials, including some above “top secret”.

The warrant and receipts for the items seized by the FBI describe a range of highly classified material. The Espionage Act is one of the criminal statutes that the FBI is investigating.

The document was sealed until Friday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The club's other members didn't allow the FBI to enter their areas.

On the day of the raid, Trump said that his safe had been broken into.

The President Records Act was passed in the wake of the Watergate scandal to prevent the destruction of White House records. Only the National Archives and Records Administration can authorize the destruction of records that were created during a presidency.

The paperwork shows that the FBI was interested in any communications about the transfer or storage of national defense information.

The materials were seized from the Florida property. A clemency document Trump signed on behalf of Roger Stone, who was convicted of lying to Congress during its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2020 election, is one of several documents listed.

There are many documents classified as "top secret" among the seized items. Some were marked both "top secret" and "compartmentalized", meaning they contain classified information that's tightly controlled to minimize exposure at the highest levels of government.

Some of the intelligence community's most closely guarded secrets can be found in secret.

According to the Washington Post, classified documents relating to nuclear weapons were sought after by the FBI. This would cast doubt on Trump's claims that he declassified the documents before taking them. Nuclear secrets and information that might reveal sensitive sources and methods of intelligence gathering are not allowed by the U.S. president.
