The woman whose home was destroyed in Anne Heche's car crash thanked people around the world for their support.

Heche crashed her car into the house in Los Angeles, causing it to go up in flames. She had cocaine in her system when she crashed, and is currently in a coma.

"I'm still recovering and trying to figure out from down, but I wanted to send a huge, huge thank you to everybody from all over the world for the overwhelming amount of love and compassion and generosity and kindness that people have shown over the past week."

She said it had been the most traumatic time of her life.

All of her animals escaped unharmed. She told her pups that they wanted to thank her for cheering them on. A friend is caring for her tortoise. She said that Marley was from the Valley.

She was devastated by what happened to her, not only because she and her pets almost lost their lives, but also because all of her property, including items of profound sentimental value, were destroyed.

A crowd funding page for her has surpassed its $100,000 goal by more than $30,000. According to the page, Mishele and her pets had narrowly escaped physical harm, but that she had lost a lifetime of possessions and basic necessities.

Lynne is a kind and generous person. We are asking for the community's help in starting over.
