The FBI searched the Mar-a-Lago home of the former president on Monday.

During an appearance on the right-wing media network Real America's Voice, one of Trump's lawyers made this comment. The property's security cameras were on for most of the FBI's search, according to Bobb.

The president and his family probably had a better view than I did. Bobb said that they were able to watch because they had the closed circuit television.

She said that the Trump family had seen the whole thing, even though she had not witnessed the raid.

They have a better idea of what happened inside.

She said that the cameras were turned off for a short time while agents talked to lawyers about them being on.

Bobb wasn't allowed to watch the search. She said that the FBI could be looking to make up something about what they found at Mar-a-Lago.

They'll come up with something. Bobb said that it will be interesting if they did.

If the DOJ's motion to unseal court records regarding the raid goes through, the FBI might give a reason for the search of Trump's former residence.

The search concerned material that Trump may have taken to Mar-a-Lago from the White House. The Washington Post reported that the FBI was looking for classified documents.

The National Archives got 15 boxes of documents from the former president's residence. The Department of Justice was requested to investigate if Trump broke the law by taking official White House documents to Mar-a-Lago.
