The Mar-a-Lago home and resort of former President Donald Trump was "mocked" by a banner with the words "HA HA HA HA" over it.

The FBI searched the home of the former president in Palm Beach, Florida, gathering about 12 boxes of documents.

Trump supporters went into an uproar over the raid, threatening those who made the decision and protesting outside of the Mar-a-Lago resort and the FBI.

Thomas Kennedy, a Miami activist and Trump critic, told WTVJ that he and some friends bought a banner for $1,800 to mock the fans of the president.

The banner flew for three hours.

Kennedy believed that Trump was a bully.

Kennedy said that he made fun of women, disabled people, and vulnerable people when he was president.

"So we just thought that, you know, just give him a taste of his own medicine, laugh at him a little bit, have some fun and celebrate that even a president can face accountability if he engages in enough criminal behavior," he said.

Kennedy told the protesters to do something better with their time.
