The opening game of the World Cup will be on Sunday, November 20th, instead of Sunday, November 19th.
The third game of the tournament was supposed to be played on November 21st, with the opening game of the tournament taking place on November 22nd.
The proposal to move the game was submitted by the administrative arm.
The tradition of the hosts or holders starting the tournament will continue with the kick-off at 16.
After receiving a request from the South American confederation, the proposal followed discussions with the two countries.
The release dates for players won't be affected by the change, and the game against the Netherlands will be played on a Monday.
Wales' opening match against the United States of America will take place on the same day as England's match with Iran.
