Following a raid on Trump's home, Republicans demonized the FBI.
What happened to the Republican Party's support of the blue?
The GOP has presented itself as a pro-law and order party.
Republicans have criticized Democrats and the Black Lives Matter movement for their criticism of police brutality. The GOP condemns calls to defund the police.
Republicans are different about law enforcement after the FBI raid on Donald Trump's house. The GOP's presentation of itself as the "law and order" party contrasts with the calls for de funding the FBI.
The host of "Fox & Friends" confronted a Republican congressman about the way in which the FBI has been portrayed online since the raid.
I'm curious about the Republican Party's support of the blue. What about members of law enforcement, federal law enforcement, at the FBI? "Doycy, what do you think?"
"We are very strong supporters of law enforcement, and it concerns everyone if you see some agents go rogue," said the congressman. If you see an agent that doesn't have the right checks and balances, then you need to look into it. It's coming from the top.
Steve, who went rogue, Steve, was the one who pushed back. The person went rogue. They were doing a search.
The GOP wants to find that out, according to the congressman.
After more back-and-forth, Doocy said, "Steve, why not wait a week or so until we know more about this search warrant than immediately rush to judgement and say the FBI are crazy."

Some Republicans have compared the FBI to the Gestapo, the secret police of Nazi Germany.
The FBI raid on the former president's home was described by some GOP lawmakers as something that only happens in the third world, despite the fact that a number of democracies have prosecuted, convicted, and even jailed ex-leaders.
There were boxes of documents that Trump took with him to Florida when he left the White House.
