The portable PowerCore 24K GaN charger is capable of being fast charged at 140W but can also give out power at the same rate, which makes it a good option if you're traveling a lot. You can charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in 40 minutes if you use the MagSafe cable.
The PowerCore can pump more than the previous maximum of 100W from a single port, thanks to the new Power Delivery 3.1 specification. 140W of power can be pumped out of either of the twoUSB-C ports, and there is also oneUSB-A port that can charge up to 18W.
The GaN 3-based tech used in the new GaNPrime chargers is also included in PowerCore. Improvements in AC-to-DC conversion efficiency, more total power output, and better temperature sensor are all promised by the GaN Prime chargers.
The new Anker GaNPrime, which is capable of 150W of charging, isn't compatible with the newPD 3.1.
The PowerCore 24K has a smart display that gives information like power draw for each connected device, how much power is left in the tank, and how long it will take for the battery to die. According to the product FAQ, Anker recommends keeping the screen off when not in use to make sure it doesn't draw too much power.
On Amazon, the PowerCore 24K is available for just over $150 dollars. If you want to take full advantage of the PowerCore 24K's 140W input, you'll have to supply your own, and both will need to be capable of the latest version ofPD 3.1.
