The game that will cure our collective depression is called Kirby's Dream Buffet and will be released in the fall. Less than a week away, you and three other friends will be able to roll, eat, and puyo your way to becoming the fattest, happiest Kirby on the block.

Nintendo went into more detail about what to expect from the game and shared the release date. You and your friends are competing to eat the most strawberries. The race mode has a track filled with obstacles to dodge and food for your Kirby to eat. You can bully your competitors off the track if you eat a lot. In the mini-game mode, you must eat as many strawberries as you can before time runs out. Kirbys must be knocked off the platform to steal their strawberries and win the game.

Kirby has the Copy Food ability that allows him to transform and gain powers based on the food he ate. The game doesn't seem to have a lot of depth beyond "have cake, will travel." Who wouldn't want more Kirby in their lives if Nintendo added more stages and game modes in the future. Look at him.

I would love to be that person.
