Gameweek 1 gave a good indication of where Manchester City are at, with the link-up between Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland visible already. We may need to wait until later in the season to get value from the assets of Manchester United.
It's clear that the man is capable of doing it in the premier league. He bullied one of the best defences in the league and could provide real value at less than $6 million. The team-mate and ultra-budget option was also impressive. He was taking free-kicks, corners and was very attacking from open play, so keep a close watch on the Cottagers.
There are teams like Man City and Haaland that are worried about the fixture. Haaland proved that he can return points against anyone when he scored two against West Ham. Periera was the most advanced player in the game with 22 touches in the final third.

Haaland is very close to the must-own statement. I wouldn't want to be without the Norwegian with a lot of games coming up including Bournemouth.
Haaland was only beaten by two players in Gameweek 1 and his run of games between now and the end of Gameweek 11 is very appealing. Haaland won't be going to the World Cup, so he'll get a mid-season break. He's a must own for me.
Holly Shand said yes. I switched from Harry Kane to another player on Sunday evening, even though both players were still priced at over $12 million. Haaland on penalties is a big deal. I didn't expect him to make a fast start, but he did. He had more chances than any other player in the league.

Even though the price has changed, I still think Kane to Haaland is important. Haaland has three home games in his next four, two of which are against promoted teams. Despite Spurs scoring four, Kane failed to register an attack against the Saints. Right now, Heung- Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski are better options.
I would take a minus four-point hit for Kane's upcoming match with the Blues. I would free up some cash from a player you don't want. If you have Leon Bailey on your bench, you could switch to Pereira to save money. If you don't already have Danny Ward, you could bring him in.
Kane isn't a bad pick right now. Spurs have a good run, starting with games against Wolves and Forest. Haaland can have more than one price change in a week, so managers should be aware that the price can go up again in Gameweek 2.

Holly Shand said she wasn't convinced by Jesus' performance against Crystal Palace but she was prepared to give him more time. With three shots on target and a higher non-penalty xG than any other player, he looks to be the complete fantasy asset. Making the switch won't be easy since I'm already tripled up on players from the other team.
Absolutely, the family is called the FPL! Managers could invest in Josh Da Silva in the middle of the field as well as Neco Williams in the defensive side of the ball. The budget will be freed up if this is done. Managers should be careful not to overlook cheaper options such as Ivan Toney and Milosevic, who are on form.
It may not be easy for the majority who have three assets already, but these three all looked great in Gameweek 1 and are a solid trio. I will not be moving for Nunez personally, but I do agree that he is a great option and must start after impressing against Cottagers.

Heisenberg said that he was unlucky not to score against Wolves. I mentioned him before but he caught my attention. He can be a starter in your team in Gameweek 8 if you want to, because he's advanced in his support of Mitrovic.
Jack Harrison put in a great performance in the middle of the field. He looks to be taking on Raphinha's mantle as the creative force in this side with seven key passes and two big chances. Man United lacked a focal point for most of the game with Christian Eriksen playing the false nine role.
There are many good choices in the middle of the field. The duo of Gabriel Martinelli and Pascal Gross were on top of their game. We saw good returns from James Ward-Prowse in the 21st century. Managers can save money with Da Silva and Periera.

It's too early, yes. I like to have more data before I make a decision. Some teams in the premier league start slow. I will most likely look to tie my wildcard in with the international break in Gameweek 5. If you want to change more than one player on your team, the early wildcard could be used.
With the unlimited transfers we get during the World Cup - on top of the usual two wildcards - you can definitely use your wildcard now and still be absolutely fine. If you need it, don't be afraid of using it.
The early wildcard is no bad thing. I would be willing to give it one more week. By that point, each side will have played a home game and the summer transfer window will bring more considerations for our fantasy squad.
