The court heard that Ryan's ex-girlfriend said living with him was "utter hell".

The former Manchester United star and Wales manager is on trial for using controlling and coercive behavior.

He is accused of attacking Ms Greville and her sister, Emma Greville.

All the charges are denied by him.

They moved in together for the first time after she was asked to live with him.

Ms Greville said she didn't live with her parents because she wanted to stay with Ryan.

The court was told that the couple took part in online family quizzes, wine tasting, and had their chefs bring in food.

One argument involved loading the dishwasher.

The way he was loading it made me feel stupid. I had to follow what he wanted to do. There are many examples of that.

"You suggest in your various accounts that there was a period of living hell during the time you were locked up?" said the defence lawyer.

Ms Greville said she felt lost. I was in fear. It was terrible for me.

Ms Greville told the court that he made her feel like she was to blame for the attack in the hotel room.

He read a series of text messages between them the day after she said he kicked her in the back out of bed, threw a laptop bag at her head and threw her naked out of a hotel room

She agreed that the messages were funny and joked about their sore throats after attending an event in London the night before.

Mr Giggs claimed that he and Ms Greville had been at a work function and that she had accused him of flirting with her.

She denied that she tried to wind him up by flirting with another man at a club later on.

She didn't agree with him asking her to sleep on the sofa when she got back to the room.

She said that Mr Giggs threw her bag and laptop at her head.

"I was so drunk that I don't remember much about that night," you said the next day, according to Mr. Daw.

Ms Greville told the court that while they were at breakfast she asked him if he threw a bag at her.

She said "No, absolutely not" when Mr. Daw said this was all lies.

Ms Greville told the court that she felt like it was her fault.

The court heard that Mr Giggs had a "litany of abuse, both physical and psychological", and that he had deliberately headbutted his ex- girlfriend.

Ms Greville was asked why she didn't mention that she had been kicked in the back in her original statement to the police.

She was asked if she was just trying to make things sound bad.

Ms Greville said she went into more detail in the interview than in her statement.

She said it was the same way it happened.

She became impatient when she was not getting a reply quickly enough from Mr. Giggs.

Ms Greville said she was conditioned by Mr Giggs because he expected messages to be responded to quickly.

She was shown messages between the couple that appeared to show her support and encouragement in her job.

He took her side in a fight with his friend's daughter.

He asked, "Do you think he undermined your career ambitions?".

On one hand, he could be supportive and I felt that, on the other hand, he would undermine the niceness with the horribleness and the other way around.
