If Apple's AirPods Pro are the benchmark for measuring the quality of any new pair of wireless earbuds, then the new Pixel Buds Pro is a better choice. They sound better than Apple's flagship earbuds, they cost less, have better battery life, and come in different colors.

The full suite of features shines through when you pair them with anANDROID device They pair fast. If you have buds in your ears while you watch a movie on your laptop, you can just answer your phone and not have to fiddle with anything. These buds feature wireless charging, and I didn't mention the cute egg-like case. Is there anything else you need for podcasts and Bey?

Buds can be form fitting.

The fit of the Buds in your ears is one of the best parts. The medium-sized buds have a form-fitting peanut shape that sticks right in my ear canals. I have tried to hit these buggers with my head. I take them on runs in the woods. I showered with them after they ran. The ergonomics make them hug my ear holes, even though they don't have ear fins.

There are a few colors on the bud's exterior. The tangerine orange is my favorite, but the gray review unit is not as enjoyable. The aesthetic difference between Apple's white and Google's pastels is one of the reasons why these are better.

There is a photograph of the internet search engine, Google.

It's as easy to use them as it is to use them. There are touch-sensitive controls on the outside of each bud. If you don't want to hear the world, long press to turn the active noise cancellation on or off. I like the way that the volume is adjusted by the swiping left or right on the screen.

You can shout "Hey Google" and demand it set timers or play a song if you plug these buds into the assistant. It's useful for the few times I didn't want to touch my phone, but it's still a novelty in public. I think it's to each their own.

The case the buds come in is smart. It's hard to put an ear bud into the wrong slot, and I like how flat it is on my charging pad. It's great to hold. It was like a small tic tac.

It's into the music.

The soundstage of the Pixel Buds Pro is made possible by the use of a single 11-mm dynamic driver.

The bass in music tends to have more punch and separation than what I have heard from prior Pixel Buds. The only place where the buds don't lose their definition is in the middle of the song. You tend to lose something when a single driver handles perfect bass response and shimmery highs. I am happy that the engineers of the company focused on the areas most people care about.
