According to Intel, the upcoming Arc A750 will be able to compete with the RTX 3060 in games. After setting its expectations low for the Arc, Intel has now tested its A750 directly against the RTX 3060 in six games.

The results look promising, which is good news for Intel. The A750 was tested against popular games like Control and Call of Duty: Warzone instead of the benchmarks the company released.

"These are all titles that we picked because they're popular," says Intel fellow Tom Petersen in Intel's benchmark video. Reviewers are either using them or high on the steam survey. The titles are not cherry picked.

We will have to wait for independent benchmarks, but based on Intel testing, the A750 looks like it will be able to compete with the Turing. The two of them are trading blows with the RTX 3060 Sometimes we win. The average performance of Intel is 3 to 5 percent better than the average of the other two companies.

It looks like Intel wins on more of the tests. It is an average win of about 5 percent. It appears that Intel is trading blows with the RTX 3060 again.

Petersen claims that they are mostly winning at both1080p and1440p. I think it is closer to 3 to 5 percent, maybe a little more towards the 5 percent win on Vulkan.

Older DirectX 11 games are not included in the focus of Intel. The performance gap between the two games was shown in early testing of the Arc A770. It could be some time before the company is able to improve the performance of its graphics cards.

These latest benchmark were performed on identical systems with the same Core i9 12900K processor and 32 gigabytes of memory. The comparisons were made using the engineering driver from Intel and the driver from Nvidia. 10th Gen or newer Intel processors, as well as the new Ryzen 3000 and above, will be required for Arc graphics cards. There is a key requirement for performance on Arc Graphics Processing Units.

We don't know when Intel will release the Arc A750, but these latest benchmarks show it could be ready to compete with the mainstream. The leaked slides show that the Arc A750 will cost between $299 and $399.

Intel will need to reach a price point that can compete with the price of the RTX 3060, particularly now that the price of the graphics card has gone down.

There will be a lot of attention on the plans for the 40-series of graphics cards. The discount on the high-end RTX 30 series could be a sign of an upcoming launch of the RTX 40 series. There were rumors that the RTX 4090 could launch last month, but it didn't happen.

It is not likely that the Turing 40-series will be priced low when they launch. Intel could be in a good position to compete later this year if it can get its drivers and prices right.
