Hays to hold first retail managers conference in three years

The first retail managers overseas conference will be held in November.

After the acquisition of Thomas Cook's retail estate, Hays Travel held an Overseas Managers' Conference.

More than 600 shop managers are going to the event at Lujo Hotel in Bodrum, Turkey, from November 8 to 12.

The conference will give shop staff their first chance to hear about the retailer's peak season sales campaign plans and its traditional fancy dress night.

Managers will be able to meet suppliers in a new format. The conference will give agents the chance to meet operators one-to-one instead of having group appointments.

The COO said they are excited about the conference. The staff will get to see the campaign in action.

He said it was going to be nice to be together again. There are a lot of surprises in the works.
