Joe Judge (l.) and Matt Patricia (r.)

If they were the two men who arrived with your truck in the greater Boston area, I don't think they could fit a loveseat through a double door. The two biggest failures in the history of the National Football League were the two teams they were on. If you ask a Giants fan about Judge or a Lions fan aboutPatricia, their response is going to be mostly negative, if they actually say something.

The development of Mac Jones has been given to a couple of people. One of the reports out of the camp required motivational speeches and a designated play caller.

Here are a couple of distressing social media posts that I am sharing to drive home my point and boost the number of people who hate New England.

It didn't matter who called the plays, the Pats were unstoppable. No. 12 would get them as many points as possible.

Sometimes the best get beat by the best players. That is correct. In the Super Bowl, the defense gave up 538 yards and 41 points. Maybe his true calling will be on the offensive side of the ball, after trying out the defensive and head coach.

He can't be any worse than the judge.

Judge's offenses finished second to last in each of the last two seasons. Daniel Jones isn't a starter in the NFL, so he could have something to do with the low output. The coach who gave the keys to the hooptie and let him call plays was the same one who made Ben McAdoo look like Sean Payton. The Giants have 22 victories since the beginning of the year.

Having an assistant coach up in the booth with a PS5 to ask Madden for suggestions on third and long is a better idea than any of the thousands of screen passes or draws Judge would inevitably pick.

I am not sure how Bostonians feel about the return of the two assistant coaches to the staff. I know how supporters of the Lions and Giants felt, and I would describe it as a thigh-slapping laugh.

I have faith that he can manage the shit out of Thing 1 and Thing 2, but he can only handle so many deflated soufflés.

The Mac-churian Candidate got a standing ovation when he ran onto the practice field. The New York Post ran a story about how a visit from his girlfriend is the only thing that makes him smile.

Two summers ago, the Pats spent a lot on free agents. Jonuu Smith, Hunter Henry, and Nelson Agholor were brought in in the year 2021. It should show you how confident he is in his quarterback. There are only a few quarterbacks who can pull off that feat, and he used to see how little Brady needed to win.

At the quarterback position, most players need sound infrastructure to succeed. It is possible that Jones needs the equivalent of Alabama talent to thrive in the National Football League.

Josh McDaniels has a proven record of running an offense, at least that's what you'll say about him. The continuity that is important to a young signal-caller is gone with him in Las Vegas and New England.

When you have the best coach-QB tandem, there is a lot of room for error. It will be interesting to see how much the offense can overcome with a couple of halfwits trading the playsheet back and forth.
