Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's campaign shot back at New York City Mayor Eric Adams after he threatened to send busloads of New Yorkers to Texas to vote against Abbott in the upcoming governor's race.

I called all of my friends in Texas and told them how to vote and I'm thinking of taking a busload of New Yorkers to go to Texas and knock on doors.

The spat between the liberal cities of Washington, D.C., and New York City and the conservative border states of Arizona and Texas has been going on for a long time. The governors of the states have angered the liberals by sending thousands of migrants to their cities.

Adams made comments about Abbott's campaign.

There is a request for the national guard to assist in the humanitarian crisis.

"Because of high taxes, out of control crime, and poor leadership by the Mayor, people are volunteering to leave New York City without the Mayor asking," a campaign spokesman said. The role of political director for Beto O' Rourke appears to have been taken on by the mayor.

There was a clash hours before three more buses arrived.

The movement of migrants into the cities has become a political issue recently. The Pentagon denied the request of the D.C. mayor to deploy the National Guard. The Republican states have been blamed by both mayors.

He said it was unimaginable coming to a country, your first visit here, someone is throwing you out, and then trying to navigate this complex country to deliver your services.

The governors of Arizona and Texas blame the large number of migrant encounters at the border on the Biden administration's border policies. Over the last four months, there have been more than 200,000 migrant encounters, with more than half a million getaways.

In April, Abbott started busing migrants to D.C. in order to bring the migrant crisis to the politicians. Migrants are being sent to New York City. The state of Arizona has been sending people to D.C., but it isn't sending them to New York.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams criticized Texas' governor. The second bus of migrants was led by Greg Abbott.

"Washington D.C. finally understands what Texans have been dealing with every single day, as our communities are overrun and overwhelmed by thousands of illegal immigrants thanks to President Biden's open border policies," Abbott's office said.

He said on Friday that New York City is the ideal place for migrants who want to live in a sanctuary city.

A bus with 40 migrants on board arrived in New York City on Sunday, but only 14 of them disembarked. Abbott said he is looking at other places where migrants can be sent.

The governor of Florida is considering sending people to the home state of the president.
