Priority Pass has many restaurants that are part of the network. Over the years we have seen many restaurants added and removed, so I wanted to provide a consolidated, updated look at which restaurants participate in Priority Pass. Priority Pass is the world's largest network of independent airport lounges. Priority Pass isn't affiliated with any airline and most of the company's member lounges are independent. There are two ways to get a priority pass membership. You can purchase a membership directly or use a premium credit card. The majority of people in the US get a membership through the latter method. The benefits of your membership could be impacted by how you attain it. Priority Pass memberships are required for some of the most popular credit cards in the US. Priority Pass cards issued through American Express don't offer credits for restaurants or other non-lounge Priority Pass experiences If you want to go to a Priority Pass restaurant, make sure you have a Priority Pass membership that isn't through American Express. Amex is not included. The elimination of restaurant privileges was an easy way to control costs associated with this benefit. The Capital One Venture X rewards credit card is the best option for Priority Pass restaurant credits. The majority of Priority Pass locations have airport lounges where you can eat, drink, and sometimes take a shower. Priority Pass can't always strike deals with airport lounges. In terminals that are mostly occupied by one of the three US airlines, this is true. Priority Pass is not allowed in any of the lounges of American, Delta, and United due to the fact that Priority Pass is a competition to their own lounge memberships. Priority Pass has entered into partnerships with some restaurants. Priority Pass usually pays lounges a certain amount for every guest who visits, so instead, Priority Pass pays restaurants a certain amount for every guest who visits, and then guests get credit for some amount that they can spend at that restaurant If you get a $28 credit, you can expect the restaurant to get about $23 of that, since they are getting a lot of business from this. There are over two dozen airport restaurants in the US that participate in Priority Pass. The restaurants are sorted by airport code. I prefer a premium international lounge to a restaurant when I travel outside of the US with Priority Pass. Priority Pass is accepted at airports outside the US. Priority Pass restaurants give you a certain amount of credit. A lot of Priority Pass restaurants give you a credit per person, while a few give you a credit. To find out the exact terms of the restaurant you are going to visit on the Priority Pass website, you need to check it out. If you have a Priority Pass membership that allows guesting privileges and offers credits at Priority Pass restaurants, you can multiply the credit by the number of guests you have. You can't use multiple credits for yourself if you travel alone. There are a number of restaurants that participate in Priority Pass. The number of guests that receive credit at a Priority Pass restaurant is determined by two factors. If you want to know how many guests you can bring to a Priority Pass restaurant, you can check the website. You have to show a boarding pass at Priority Pass restaurants. Some restaurants require you to have an outbound boarding pass in order to serve you food, while others don't. Priority Pass restaurants can be visited when you arrive at the airport. You can check the terms on the website. Yes, generally speaking You can visit multiple lounges at airports that have multiple Priority Pass restaurants. Depending on the restaurant, the decorum for this varies. Some restaurants charge you at the end of the meal, while others only take your card at the beginning. My strategy is to only ask if they need my card when I sit down. Most of the time, your card is swiped at the end of the meal. If you use Priority Pass, just let your server know that you will be paying with it. You should be given a receipt if you want it after they bring over a machine where you can use your card. If you charge more than the credit amount, you will be charged the balance. Priority Pass is similar to a gift card in that it is a form of payment. If you dine at an airport restaurant you should always tip the full amount. The only exception to this is the Corona Beach House at Miami Airport. There is no need to tip beyond the 18% gratuity. I would like to see more restaurants adopt this policy, but I don't think it will happen. I don't want the server to lose out because of the benefit. If I stay under the credit amount, they can't run credit card transactions for tips, so I always use cash. The credit isn't valid for delivery orders or orders through the "grab and go" feature if a restaurant has it. Priority Pass restaurants don't allow you to take leftover food with you. Priority Pass restaurants are great for airports that don't have Priority Pass lounges. If you have time, you can hop between Priority Pass locations in airports that have traditional lounges. Priority Pass restaurants serve food that is comparable to what you would get on a plane. If you are a Priority Pass member, you need to keep an eye out for any restaurant locations that are near an airport. What did you think about using Priority Pass restaurants? Are there any other questions you have? The rates and fees can be found in the links. The Platinum Card from American Express has rates and fees. What is Priority Pass?
