The new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are capable of 24-bit audio playback.

The new Buds 2 Pro are being introduced today. The company says they are smaller and more comfortable than the original Buds Pro, and that the new model supports 24 bit audio over the phone. Pre orders for the Buds 2 Pro will be available on August 26. The launch price of the original pair was less expensive. The earbuds will be offered in three colors.

The Buds 2 Pro is 15 percent smaller than the original Buds Pro and has an expanded vent to allow for more air to reach your ears. It is hoped that this will make the earbuds transparent mode sound more convincing.

The amount of recycled material goes into these earbuds. The best explanation is contained in the footnotes of the company's press release.

More than 90 percent of all the plastic components of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, in weight, are made of recycled materials. 29 grams of plastics are used in the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in total, and it includes more than 27 grams recycled materials. Each of these components contains at least 20 percent of either discarded fishing nets (ocean-bound plastic) or post-consumer materials. Recycled fishing nets are used in three internal components of the cradle case in its bracket deco front, bracket battery holder, and bracket-PCB. Post-consumer recycled materials are used in eight exterior components. Four components in both Buds in its case front left/right, case rear left/right. And four components in the cradle case in its deco front, case-upper, case-upper inner, and case-lower.

Multipoint support isn't available for theGalaxy Buds 2 Pro, so you can't pair them with two audio sources at the same time. Multipoint is a feature that is becoming more and more common on earbuds. It is disappointing to see a new set of earbuds without one.

The Buds 2 Pro can now play 24 bit hi-fi audio. You will need a phone with OneUI 4.0 or later if you want to use it with apps that don't support it.

They’ll be available in white, black, and purple.

With the help of its proprietary "seamless codec", the company is pulling off hi-fi wireless play-back. The company claims that quality music is enabled to transfer without a pause and that the new speaker makes those sounds richer than ever. The next AirPods Pro is rumored to have Apple's own solutions for high-quality audio. There is a solution for Sony's LDAC on the LinkBuds S.

The audio is said to be better. According to the spec sheet, the Buds 2 Pro are compatible with LE audio.

The battery can last up to eight hours with it off. If you keep it off, you'll get 20 hours or 30 hours. The Buds 2 Pro are water and sweat resistant. The new flagship earbuds are a modest improvement over the previous model but should still be a great companion to the company's phone lineup.
