One of the longest running legal cases involving the former president involves him testifying as part of a civil investigation into his real estate business.

FBI agents searched Trump's Mar-A-Lago residence in Florida on Monday as part of a federal investigation into the handling of White House records by the former president. The National Archives and Records Administration received 15 boxes of documents from the White House in January. After leaving office, Trump may have violated federal record-keeping laws by taking the documents to his private residence.
